this used to be my go to app for looking up actors film credits. earlier this year the app stopped working for me. I un-installed and reinstalled it, made sure it was up to date and it still doesn't work right. I emailed tech support and never got an answer. I can look things up but there are not as many results or as much information as there used to be. I loved the lay out and how easy the app was too use. but now I don't even use the app.

Overall a poorly designed app and bad UX. First, the forced sponsored trailer at the top of the screen does not stay in its place while scrolling down and blocks a good portion of the screen while overlapping actual content. When it finally disappears l, it shifts each section, forcing you to find where you left off. Second, the details for a listing feels random and makes searching for a specific detail tedious, the intertwined ads/sponsored content doesn't help. Theres more but Im out of chars

It's a great app except for the fact that if you move away to another app and come back to imdb later, it will lose your place and open on the home screen. Super frustrating! Everything else is 5 stars. (Reply to dev: at least 2 minutes. Other apps have no time limit.) When I get notifications like a movie on my watch list is leaving a streamer, if I tap on the notification it just takes me to the app home screen, not the movie page where to get more info. All of the notifications do that.

Hi Jason, We should be saving your place as long as you return to the app before too long - could you try it out and estimate how long you are away from the app before you have to start over at the home screen? Thanks in advance!
